Debra Neff McClure, 45, of Grinnell died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held Friday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m. at Hazelwood Cemetery. Friends may call at Smith Funeral Home prior to her service beginning at 9 a.m. Memorials may be sent to the Debra S. McClure Memorial Fund, PO Box 368, Grinnell IA 50112. DEBRA NEFF MCCLURE

Debra Neff McClure, 45, of Grinnell died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service was held Friday, Dec. 28, at Hazelwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Debra S. McClure Memorial Fund, PO Box 368, Grinnell IA 50112.

The daughter of Robert Lee and Wanda Gayle Foster Neff, she was born March 29, 1962, in Grinnell where she was raised, graduating from Grinnell High School with the class of 1980. On June 14, 1980, she was united in marriage with Dan Frimml and the couple resided in California. After their marriage ended in divorce, she returned to Grinnell in 1994. She was united in marriage with Michael McClure on Feb. 14, 1994, in Grinnell. She had been employed as a medical aide at Mayflower Homes.

She had volunteered and worked with the elderly at Mayflower. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren, and such activities as watching movies, going shopping and eating out with her special friend, Darrell "Paunch" Rojohn Jr., collecting lighthouse memorabilia and crafting.

She is survived by her mother, Wanda Burkett; her daughters and sons, Amanda Bergmann and Rachel Frimmel of Grinnell and Robert Frimml of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren; her brothers Duane Neff of Grinnell and Richard Neff of Rochester, Minn.; her sister, Diane Schultz of Grinnell and her special friend Darrell Rojohn Jr. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Neff in 1995.
