FUNERAL OF ADDIE DOYLE

Addie Doyle, daughter of E.C. and Mary Doyle, of Deep River, was born near Ewart, Poweshiek county, Iowa, May 11, 1901 and died at the home of her parents near Beulah, on September 15, 1913.

She had two brothers and three sisters, one brother and one sister having died in infancy. She leaves a father, mother, brother and two sisters to mourn her loss.

In the spring of 1912 her parents took her to Rochester, Minn., where she underwent a serious surgical operation which was thought to be successful, but from which she never fully recovered.

On the Monday morning before her death that evening she requested Christian baptism and Rev. Kennedy her former pastor, administered the same. Although she was a very great sufferer, she was patient and gently and slipped sweetly and peacefully away as if in slumber.

Funeral services were held at the home of her parents, Wednesday, September 17, 1913, at two o'clock. Rev. Thomas C. Kennedy, pastor of the M.E. church, Deep River, conducted the services.
