BURIED MONDAY

Funeral services were said Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the Steffy Funeral Home for Mrs. E.C. Doyle who passed away Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Allen. Rev. M.D. Wyatt was in charge of the services.

Mrs. Laura Gorsuch sang three songs and played her own accompaniment.

Pallbearers were Charley and Leslie Gorsuch, T.W. Chamness, Roy Tarvin, Henry Henkle, and Carl Latcham.

Interment was in the local cemetery.

OBITUARY.

MRS. EDGAR DOYLE

Mary Bell Stanford, daughter of George and Jane Stanford, was born in Poweshiek County, Ia., on May 16, 1867, and passed away on March 21, 1947 at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 5 days. On October 9, 1890, she was united in marriage to Edgar C. Doyle, and she has made her home near Montezuma until the death of her husband two years ago when she went to make her home with her children. She has been a member of the Methodist Church since 1915. She leaves to mourn her passing three children: Mrs. Roger Frazier of Barnes City; Frank Doyle of Tama; and Mrs. Walter Allen of New Sharon; one grandson, William Doyle of Tama; and several nieces and nephews.
