OBITUARY

ROGER FRAZIER

Services for Roger C. Frazier were conducted by the Rev. Martin Gruneich Wednesday afternoon, December 24, at the Steffy Funeral Home. Mrs. Ann Emehiser as the organist at the rites.

Casket bearers were Gary Woods, Carl Ewing Sr., Kenneth Bushong, Carl E. Ewing, William Bushong and Jacob Van Hoever. Burial was in Jackson Township Cemetery.

Mr. Frazier, 84, died Monday, December 22, at Grinnell General Hospital.

The son of John and Jennie Frazier, he was born in Waspakoneta, Ohio, on May 16, 1891. He attended rural school in Ohio and came to Iowa in 1909. He served with the armed services in World War I.

In January of 1921 he was married to the former Margaret Oliver. They farmed in Mahaska and Poweshiek counties. Mrs. Frazier died Oct. 16, 1948.

On Aug. 29, 1952, he was married to Edith Johnston. Their married life was spent in Montezuma. Mr. Frazier was a member of the American Legion and Community Barracks of World War I veterans.

He is survived by his wife, Edith; a sister, Rosa Sellers of Lima, Ohio; and a brother, John Frazier of Denver, Colo.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, two infant brothers, two sisters and a half-sister.
