FUNERAL SERVICES
FOR DOW SAVILLE

Dow Saville was born Dec. 4, 1876 at Salem, Ia., Henry Co., and passed away May 15, 1930 at the age of 53 years, 6 months, 11 days.

When a boy he moved with his parents to Searsboro, and later to Montour, where he has resided ever since.

In 1902 he was united in marriage to Jennie Diener.

To this union were born five children, two girls and three boys, two of whom have gone on before. Those living are Irene Lewis of Chicago, Nellie and Ralph of Grinnell.

He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters, N.E. Saville of Tekamah, Nebr., Harve Saville and Alice Mattingly of Grinnell and Hatty Thorn of Pilot Mound and a host of friends and relatives.

Funeral services were in charge of Rev. Robert Lincoln at Snyder's undertaking parlor. Two hymns were sung, "We Are going Down the Valley One by One" and "Shall We Meet Beyond the River." The quartet was Harry Russell, Charlie Russell, Arthur Lincoln and Curtis Greene. Burial was at Montour.
