ZONA LOUISE ALEXANDER

Zona Louise Alexander, 74, of 1303 Prairie St., Grinnell, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, at Grinnell General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Cliff Bevins, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of Joseph and Rutha Coffey and was born May 24, 1917, in Monticello, Ky. She received her education there.

She was married to Otha Marvin Alexander May 19, 1936, in Monticello, and the couple moved to Grinnell.

Mrs. Alexander is survived by one daughter, Eula Schinckel of Grinnell; two grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond of Monticello and Herbert of Indianapolis, Ind.; and three sisters, Hattie Smith of Monticello, Opal Seluson of Indianapolis and Lonnie Taylor of Fishers, Ind. She was preceded n death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Memorials in her name may be made to the Adult Day Care Center.
