KATHLEEN M. BRUNS, 79

Kathleen M. Bruns, 79, of North Hollywood, California, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 1996 in Los Angeles, Calif.

Graveside services were held Mon., Jan. 15, 1996 at Arlington Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, Calif., with Rev. Larry Stamper, First United Methodist Church of Burbank, officiating.

Kathleen Sharp Bruns, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Sharp, was born Sept. 10, 1917 in Montezuma, Iowa. She was an only child. She graduated with the Class of 1935, Montezuma High School. She served in the Navy in World War II. She was united in marriage to William Leroy (Bill) Bruns on Nov. 9, 1946 at Montezuma. She and Bill lived the last 40 years in California.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1977, and her parents.

Kathleen is survived by two sisters-in-law: Evelyn Icenbice and Louise Bruns, Deep River; and a brother-in-law, Wayne H. Bruns, Montgomery, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Christian Church of Christ, Deep River, Iowa.
