Services for Randall C. "Randy" Goff of Nevada were held Oct. 18 at the Nevada United Methodist Church. He died Oct. 14 at Mary Greeley Hospital, Ames, at age 70.
He was born in Grinnell April 20, 1924, son of John and Mable (Swindal) Goff.
He was graduated from Brooklyn High School in 1942. Before retiring in 1989, he had been a mechanic at Donnelley Marketing in Nevada.
He was married to Gladys Dunahoo in Des Moines on June 10, 1967. She survives. He was a licensed amateur radio operator, and a member of the Nevada United Methodist Church.
Goff was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery, Iowa Center, under the direction of Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada.
