CONDUCTED FRIDAY

Funeral services for John Goff, 76, who died suddenly of a heart attack while driving his car in Brooklyn last Wednesday, were held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at Bramer Funeral Home.

The Rev. C.W. Woollard, pastor of Grace Methodist church, officiated at the services and Leo Shuler was organist. Interment was in I.O.O.F. cemetery with Edgar Buchenau, U.J. Hansen, Hobart Powell, Philip Eichhorn, C.C. Ecklund and Robert Willett serving as pallbearers. Flower attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Horace Davidson.

John Fuller Goff, son of William F. and Anna Goff, was born Feb. 24, 1887, in Brooklyn and died Feb. 5, 1964 in Brooklyn.

October 8, 1912, he was married to Mabel Swindal and two children were born to the couple, Marjorie and Randall.

Mr. Goff had lived his entire life in the Brooklyn area. He graduated from Brooklyn High School in 1904. For 45 years he had worked as a baker for the late F.L. Neff. He later worked at the Brooklyn Creamery.

He was a member of Grace Methodist church and had served as church secretary for a number of years.

He is survived by his son, Randall of Des Moines, a sister, Mrs. E.B. (Grace) Williamson of Los Angeles, Calif. and four grandchildren of Golden, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1959 and his daughter, Mrs. George (Marjorie) Foley in 1951.

Notation from Harold Nevenhoven, on March 18, 2014 - John Fuller Goff is not buried in Brooklyn Memorial (former IOOF) cemetery. Harold checked and notes that John Fuller Goff is buried in Ivy Hill Cemetery in Malcom.
