Harry Wild, 67, Toledo township farmer, died March 29, at his home east of Toledo, where he had been ill for several weeks of heart disease and dropsy.

The funeral service was held March 31, at 2 o'clock at the Harrison Funeral home in Tama and was conducted by the Rev. W.S. Kight of Des Moines, former pastor of the Sheridan and Sonora churches. Two selections, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," and "Shall We Gather at the River" were sung by Mrs. Carl B. Harrison, with Mrs. F.E. Fowler playing the accompaniment. Casket bearers were J.C. Child, Charles Collins, T.V. Gunder, R.G. Winders, W.F. Ebersole and H.C. Clough. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery, Toledo.

Harry Wild, son of John and Mary Jane Wild, was born in Toledo May 22, 1867, and died March 29, 1935. His boyhood days were spent in the vicinity of Toledo. Mr. Wild was united in marriage with Agnes Wobeter May 13, 1897, and to this union three children were born. The eldest child, Vera, preceded her father in death in 1927. The children remaining are the twins, Nelson Floyd, at home, and Pearl Marie, now Mrs. William Snellenbarger of Colfax, Indiana.

After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Wild lived in the Sheridan community until eight years ago, when they moved east of Toledo. Mr. Wild was known among his friends as generous and kind, and always willing to help others in time of need. He was a devoted husband and father.

Besides his widow and two children Mr. Wild is survived by three brothers and two sisters, John, Frank and Miss Hattie Wild, of Toledo; Dr. R.P. Wild of Traer, and Mrs. Myrtle Schmidt of Muscatine; also three grandsons, Joseph, David and Billy Snellenbarger, are left to mourn his loss.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schmidt of Muscatine, Dr. and Mrs. R.P Wild and daughters, Virginia and Phyllis of Traer, and many old neighbors from the Sheridan community were among those in attendance at the funeral.
