HARRY E. DEXTER

Harry Everett Dexter, 81, of Hendersonville, Tenn., a native of Grinnell, died Friday, Jan. 27, at a local hospital.

A memorial service was conducted Monday at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville. Private burial was in Shepherd Memorial Park, Hendersonville.

The son of Charles E. and Lucy McFate Dexter, he was a graduate of Gem City Business College in Quincy, Ill. He had been employed for 40 years by International Harvester, now Navistar International Corp., in the accounting and auditing departments. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Whitton Dexter; a brother, Charles of Sand Point, Idaho; and one sister, W. Bernice Sasris of Des Moines.
