ELISABETH REX

Elisabeth Rex, 87, of Grinnell died Saturday, March 4, at the Mayflower Health Care Center.

The body was cremated, and no services were conducted. Burial of the ashes will take place at a later date at Elmwood Cemetery in Minburn.

She was a 1929 graduate of Grinnell College, after which she pursued a career in library work. She worked at Van Wert County Library in Van Wert, Ohio, for many years. She moved back to Grinnell in 1981 to live at the Mayflower.

Surviving are her sister, Mary Rex of Grinnell, and one brother, John Rex of Muscatine.
