NELLIE B. WALKER

Nellie B. Walker, 79, Monrovia, Calif., formerly of Grinnell, died Saturday, Oct. 22.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 27,, at Smith Funeral Home with David Green, pastor of the Assembly of God, officiating. Organist was Alice Renaud and vocal music was by Brenda Green. Burial was in Barnes City Cemetery, Barnes City.

The daughter of Samuel and Bettie Bauchman (Bachman) May, she was born Sept. 12, 1915, in Novinger, Mo. She married Ivan Walker in Montezuma and the couple lived in Grinnell where Mrs. Walker worked for a tent company and later for DeLong Sportswear. The Walkers moved to Monrovia in 1975.

She is survived by her husband Ivan, Monrovia; one son Donald E. Walker, Monrovia; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
