MRS. NINA JOSEPH
FUNERAL RITES

Mrs. Nina Badger Joseph of Grinnell died Saturday morning at a local hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the James-Schalinske Funeral Home with the Rev.C.E. Kingsley, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Organist will be Mrs. Kathleen Heffner and serving on the flower committee will be Mrs. Dennis Lammert and Mildred Edgington.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Lammert, William Esler, Donald Morrison, Bob Hamilton, Hugo Hasselbrink and John Ahrens.

Interment will be in Hazelwood cemetery.

The daughter of Robert and Melda Parmely Rice, she was born on March 30th, 1887, in Jasper county, but lived most of her life in and near Grinnell.

Mrs. Joseph is survived by two daughters, Mrs. L.A. (Edna) Hasselbrink and Mrs. H.D. (Lela) Laskewitz, both of Kellogg; two sons, Robert Badger of Torrence, Calif., and Cleve Badger of Elgin, Ill.; her husband, Ollie Joseph; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three brothers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.A. Badger, and a son, Walter.
