SERVICES HELD

H. Del Naylor, 64, formerly of Grinnell, died Nov. 27 at a Cedar Rapids hospital.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 29, in Belle Plaine, with burial at the National Cemetery in Vining.

The son of Claude and Ada Main Naylor, he was born Nov. 6, 1911, in Grinnell. He was married to Mabel (Bunny) Kucera on June 20, 1936.

Mr. Naylor was a sergeant in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during World War II. He served as photographer for the 32nd Signal Battalion in Okinawa.

He was a graduate of Grinnell High School and also attended Grinnell College. Owner and operator of the Naylor Studio in Belle Plaine from 1960 to 1972, he was a graduate of the Institution of Design, the Chicago School of Photography, and the Barten School of Retouching. For the past two years, he had been employed at Coe College.

Mr. Naylor had been a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge in Grinnell, several photography associations, and the United Methodist church. A former Eagle Scout, he was active in Scouting in Belle Plaine.

Survivors include his wife, Bunny, and a son, Conger Alan, Coe College.
