FUNERAL SERVICES
HELD AT PULASKI

Funeral services for R.W. Morrison, 72, longtime resident of Deep River and Malcom areas, were held June 13 at the Methodist church in Pulsaski, conducted by Rev. Myron Krehbiel. Masonic burial services were conducted at the Pulaski cemetery. He was a member of the Pulaski lodge, A.F. & A.M.

Reuben Wesley Morrison, son of William and Mary Ann Gross Morrison, was born June 13, 1887 in Poweshiek county, and died June 10 in a Bloomfield hospital following a long illness. He was the last of his brothers and sisters.

He and Miss Neta May Campblell were united in marriage at Malcom Feb. 22, 1910. To this union eight children were born, the six survivors are: Mrs. Mildred Johnston, San Gabriel, Calif.; Mrs. Esther Howard and Jim Morrison, Pulaski, Bud Morrison, Malcom; Mrs. Dorothy Timm, Ladora, and Mrs. Cleo Christian, Rosemead, Calif. Also 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Because of ill health he quit farming and spent several years in Colorado and California before entering the oil business at Pulaski in 1936. He later became interested in the insurance business.
