RITES HELD FOR MRS. GEURTS

Dorotha L. Geurts, 73, of 95 Fourth Ave., Grinnell, died of a stroke Tuesday, April 19, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Curtis Brouwer, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Palo Alto Cemetery near Newton.

Mrs. Geurts is survived by three sons, Jerry and Craig, both of Chicago, and Michael of Grinnell; one daughter, Judy Tickle of Wolfeboro, N.H., two grandchildren; one brother, Howard Vanness of Grinnell, and her twin sister, Doris Drayson of Sunnyvale, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester and one son, Billy.
