FUNERAL SERVICES
PLANNED FRIDAYJames H. Daley, 82, of Grinnell, died Wednesday morning at a local rest home following an illness of the last five years.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday from the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Pohlenz, pastor of the First Friends church, officiating. Pallbearers will be John Collum, Gene Campbell, Bryan Davis, Bob King, Russ Otcheck, and Everett Williams.
Burial will be in Hazelwood cemetery.
Born Sept. 5, 1880, Mr. Daley had resided in Grinnell since 1914. He had been employed by the City of Grinnell and Hazelwood cemetery.
He is survived by his widow Rose; one stepson, Floyd Daley of Grinnell; three step grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.
