SCHEDULED FOR
MRS. ROSE DALEY

Following poor health of the past six years, Mrs. Rose Jane Daley, 70, of Grinnell, widow of Jim Daley, died Saturday evening at a local rest home.

Funeral services are to be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Lester Williams, pastor of the Calvary Baptist church, officiating. Vocal music will be by Mrs. J. Lester Williams, accompanied by Mrs. Leonard Pearce at the organ.

Pallbearers will be Gene Campbell, John Collum, Bryan Davis, Russ Otcheck, Bruce Stewart and Everett Williams. Burial will be in Hazelwood cemetery.

She was the daughter of John Thomas and Sarah Kastner McGinty and was born Sept. 19th, 1892, in Rock Creek township of Jasper county. At the age of three the family moved to Kansas where she received her education in the public schools.

Later, she was united in marriage with Frederick Martin and to this union was born one son, Floyd. Following the early death of her husband, she was united in marriage with James Harrison Daley in 1916 at Newton. He preceded her in death on Nov. 14th, 1962.

Mrs. Daley is survived by her son, Floyd Daley of Grinnell, and three grandchildren and two great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist church.
