RUTHE L. CLARK

Ruthe L. Clark, 75 of 1221 West St., Grinnell, died Saturday Nov. 3, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Raymond C. Lott, pastor of the Grinnell United Methodist Church officiating. Organist was Kathleen Heffner, and vocalist was Marvin Kelley.

Pallbearers were Barry Bell, Dale Bell, Donald Bell, Max Thompson, Ralph Thompson and Jim Webb. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Grinnell United Methodist Church.

The daughter of Joe and Floy Koger Wilson, she was born Aug. 16, 1915, in Jasper county. She attended schools in Kellogg and Grinnell, graduating from Grinnell High School in 1933.

She was married to Dale Clark May 15, 1940, in Marshalltown. The couple lived in Burlington where they worked in the Iowa Ordnance Plant. In 1942 they moved to Dallas, Texas, where Mrs. Clark attended McBride's Business College.

The couple moved to Grinnell in 1946, and Mrs. Clark worked as a bookkeeper for McDowell Insurance Co., Grinnell Federal Savings and Loan, and Miracle Recreation Equipment Co.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one brother, Wesley Wilson of San Diego, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers, Ray and Glenn Wilson.
