FUNERAL SERVICES HELD
FOR MARIE CAMPBELL

Funeral services were held Dec. 28 at Bramer Funeral Home in Brooklyn for Mrs. Marie Campbell, a Brooklyn resident the past five years, who died on Christmas day at Grinnell General Hospital.

The Rev. Kenneth Siemens, pastor of the Madison Church of Christ, officiated at the services.

Burial was in Graceland Cemetery in Laurel.

The daughter of Frederick Ebert and Caroline Boejer Ebert, Mrs. Campbell was born in Leppi Detmoldt, Germany, Oct. 1, 1886.

At the age of seven, she, her parents, and a brother and sister came to the United States and made their home on a farm in Jasper County.

On Nov. 29, 1906, she was married to Benton Campbell at the family home near Kellogg. The couple farmed near Weldon until 1965 when Mr. Campbell became ill. He died Feb. 8, 1966.

Since the death of her husband, Mrs. Campbell had been living with her sister, Mrs. Pauline Andrews of Brooklyn.

Survivors include two sisters and two brothers--Mrs. Minnie Logsdon of Las Vegas, Nev., Mrs. Andrews of Brooklyn and Gus and Adolph Ebert of Kellogg, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother and sister.
