FORREST OTCHECK DIES IN ILLINOIS

Forrest E. Otcheck, 79, of Quincy, Ill., formerly of Grinnell, died Thursday, April 12, in Quincy.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 16, with burial in Onarga Cemetery, Onarga, Ill.

The son of E.J. and Ella Nora Wade Otcheck, he was born July 23, 1904, in Newton. He moved with his parents to Grinnell where he attended school, graduating from Grinnell High School in 1922. He graduated from Gem City Business College in Quincy in 1926.

He formerly owned Royal Printing Co. in Quincy, having joined the firm in 1926 as bookkeeper and office manager, acquiring full title to the firm in the 1930s.

Mr.Otcheck and his wife held farming interests in Iroquois County, Ill. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, was active in Masonic circles, and held memberships in the YMCA, the Quincy Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club, the Moose and Eagles lodges, and various other organizations.

He is survived by his wife, Leona, and two sisters, Vera Burch of Grinnell and Helen Callen of Marshalltown. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Memorials in his name may be made to Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital or the Salvation Army.
