Cheryl Asberry Lingenfelter, 50, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Grinnell, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Kansas City Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Kansas City Hospice House, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 100, Kansas City, Mo. 64114 or on-line at www.kansascityhospiceorg. Marts Memorial Services in Kansas City is in charge of arrangements.
She was born May 14, 1959, in Grinnell, the daughter of William and Josie Perkins Asberry. She attended Grinnell-Newburg Schools.
She is survived by her husband Michael Lingenfelter of Kingman, Kan.; her son Michael Lingenfelter Jr. of Kingman, Kan.; her daughter, Melissa Bailey of Kansas City, Mo.; her granddaughter Ashley Rose; and her brothers, Lonnie and Dwight Asberry of Grinnell; Oliver Asberry of New York, and Jimmy Asberry of Wichita, Kan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Linda Asberry Bever.
