MRS. WINIFRED WOLD

Funeral services for Mrs. Winifred Wold, 50, of 306 East Des Moines St., Brooklyn, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in the Windsor Heights Lutheran Church in Des Moines. Mrs. Wold died Sunday afternoon, Nov. 18, 1979, in Grinnell General hospital.

Rev. Norm Litzner, Pastor of Windsor Heights Lutheran Church, officiated. The organist was Mrs. Frankie Bruner. Casket-bearers were John Eymaan, David Anderson, Rollin Harder, Gerald Hall, Hugh Grieg, and Donald Wolters. Honorary casket-bearers were Dudley Weible, Benjamin Carter, Edgar Buchenau, Gerald Read, Rodger Brown, Robert Hampel, Lloyd Willig, W. Leslie Pugh, and Glen Kriegel.

Interment will be Friday in the Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines, Ill.

Memorials to the Windsor Heights Lutheran Church or the Cancer Fund may be left at the Nevenhoven Funeral Home in memory of Mrs. Wold.

Winifred Louise DuLaney Wold, daughter of Floyd DuLaney and Dorothy Cameron DuLaney, was born on Feb.21, 1929, in Chicago, Ill. She received her education there and was united in marriage to Gordon L. Wold on Feb. 5, 1955 in Chicago.

They moved to Estherville, Iowa in 1956 and lived there until 1961 when they moved to Forest City. In 1974, they moved to Brooklyn. Mrs. Wold was a member of the Windsor Heights Lutheran Church in Des Moines, DAR, worked in the American Cancer Society and was a director of the Poweshiek County Savings Bank, Brooklyn.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon L. Wold; three daughters, Barbara Ann, Mrs. Wm. G. Palermo III of Greenfield, Jennifer Lynn Wold, a junior a Drake University, Des Moines, and Patricia Jean Wold at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd DuLaney of Elgin, Ill.; two brothers, A. Robert DuLaney of Schaumburg, Ill. and Donald DuLaney of Gurney, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard.
