Pearl Slater, 74, of Costa Mesa, Calif., died Saturday at Newport Beach, Calif.
Graveside services for Mrs. Slater were held at 11 a.m. today at Hazelwood Cemetery, with the Rev. James P. Russell of the Grinnell United Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call the Smith Funeral Home for additional information.
The daughter of Elmer and Joan Wulf, she was born Aug. 10, 1903, at Newton. She lived in Des Moines where she worked for the Rollins Hosier Mill. She moved to Long Beach, Calif., in 1953, and was employed by the Sparks Chemical Co. for 10 years as a secretary.
She married Eber Slater of Grinnell on Aug. 8, 1925, in Owatonna, Minn.
There are no immediate survivors,. Mrs. Slater was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Mr. Slater died Feb. 20, 1954.
