Calvin Edward Conger, little son of Lowell and Elizabeth Conger, was born October 31st, 1926, and died at the age of one year, eight months and twelve days.

For some time, the little physical form has been in the grip of a dread disease and several weeks ago he was taken to the Perkins Hospital in Iowa City for treatment. When it became evident that the best medical skill there could no nothing for the ailment, he was brought to the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Patten of Brooklyn, where on Friday morning, July 13, 1928, the little life quietly slipped away.

On January 28, 1924, James Arnold, another child of Mr. and Mrs. Conger, died in infancy.

The sympathy of all goes out to the grief stricken parents in their sad bereavement.

Funeral services were held July 14, from the home of Mr. James Patten at 2:30 o’clock. Interment was in the Brooklyn cemetery.
