Funeral For Mrs. Meredith is Thursday

Died Monday Night After a Lingering Illness

Mrs. Phoebe Meredith, 71, died Monday evening at a Grinnell hospital following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in Brooklyn at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here.

Mrs. Meredith is a long time resident of this community. For a number of years her home has been in South Brooklyn.

She is survived by four children, Mildred, Robert, Max and Jesse. Mildred and Jesse live at home and Robert and Max and their families live in Spencer, Iowa. There are also three grandchildren.
