JUNE CLEARMAN

June Horn Clearman, 78, of Grinnell died at her home Sunday, March 14.

A family visitation was held March 16. Burial will be in the family plot in Rosedale Cemetery, Orange, N.J.

The Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The daughter of Samuel and Mary Goldstein Horn, she was born April 29,, 1920, in New York City. She was raised and educated in the New York area, earning a master's degree in mathematics.

She was married to Harold E. Clearman in 1943, and the couple lived in Washington, D.C. She also lived in Long Island, N.Y., before moving to Grinnell in 1981 to become a systems analyst for Grinnell College.

Surviving are two children, Nora England of Iowa City and Stephen of Englewood, N.J., and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother, Milton B. Horn.
