Lois May Wheeler was born in Keokuk County, Iowa on December 26, 1873 and died in Brooklyn, Iowa, March 3, 1911 at the age of 38 years, 2 months and 7 days.

She was united in marriage to C. W. Kann February 5th, 1890. To this union three children were born, two sons and one daughter, the daughter having died eight years ago. She united with the Brethren church sixteen years ago.

Mrs. Kann had been in poor health for about three years, gradually failing, but suffered little until the last week of her life. She leaves to mourn her death a husband, two sons, a mother, two brothers, one sister and many friends.

The funeral service was held at the Brethren Church and conducted by Rev. Gilland on March 5, 1911. Her body was interred in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
