Albert Franklin Kann was born in Brooklyn, Iowa on February 15, 1911 and died at the home of his parents north of Brooklyn, April 8, 1920, at the age of nine years one month and twenty-three days. He has been ill since early last fall, and bed fast for the last six weeks. He was a very patient sufferer and passed away very quietly, seeming to sleep his life away. He leaves to mourn his death the father, mother, a sister, Lois, age seven and a brother, Harold, age five, also a host of relatives and friends.

The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church in Brooklyn Friday afternoon at two o’clock by Rev. John W. Pool and his little body laid to rest in the Brooklyn cemetery.
