Anna Stella, the second child of Mary Anne and Frederick K. Johnston, was born near Montezuma, Sept. 18, 1892, and departed this life at her home near Deep River, Sunday morning Nov. 7, 1926, age 34 years, 1 month and 20 days. She spent her childhood on her father’s farm and on April 10, 1912, she was united in marriage to Elmer Thomas Morrison. Their home was blessed with one daughter, Hazel Florabel, who is left to mourn a loving mother and father.

During the winter of 1919 she united with the Presbyterian Church of Deep River, where she retained her membership until her death.

Her father passed to the better world in April, 1921, but she leaves her mother, one sister, Mabel and three brothers, Thomas, Walter and Harry, all of Montezuma.

Source: Unknown newspaper clipping found in scrapbook belonging to my great grandmother. Burial was at Montezuma.
