Inetha Latimer, 85, of Grinnell died Tuesday, April 4, at the Mayflower, where she had lived for the past seven years.
Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Chapel in Shelbina, Mo., with the Rev. Frieda K. Betts officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the West Lawn Addition of Shelbina Cemetery.
She was born in Finger, Tenn., on Dec. 17, 1914, and was the daughter of Dossie and Lela Woodward Bishop.
She received her bachelor's degree at Lambeth College and the University of Tennessee and taught home economics in Shelbyville and Shelbina high schools for 30 years.
She was married to John Thomas Latimer Dec. 21, 1941. He died in April 1983.
Mrs. Latimer was a member of the United Methodist Church in Shelbina, Chapter U of PEO and the Missouri Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by two sons, John Oliver Latimer of Gallatin, Tenn., and Thomas Bishop Latimer of Grinnell, and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, Roy Bishop.
