IRVA A. SULLIVAN, 56

Irva A. Sullivan, 56, of Montezuma, died Monday, June 2, 1997, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 5, 1997, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens. Burial was in Highland Memory Gardens.

Irva was born in Des Moines, where she lived most of her life. She was baptized at Easton Place United Methodist and graduated from East High School. She was a Den Mother for Cub Scouts, a PTA member at Phillips School in Des Moines, a member of Grandview Little League and a member of the Food Service Workers Union in Des Moines. Irva moved to Montezuma about nine years ago and became the Food Service Manager at the Montezuma Community Schools.

Irva is survived by her husband, Donald D. Sullivan of Montezuma; her mother, Eva D. Slater of El Mirage, Calif.; two sons, James D. Sullivan of Runnells; and Edwin F. Sullivan of Ankeny; one daughter, Susan A. Eaton of West Des Moines; one brother, James (Jay) Slater of Mira Loma, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
