ANNA BOONE RITES
AT MARSHALLTOWN

Mrs. Anna Boone, 70, 611 S. 9th Street, passed away at her home Thursday evening. She had resided in Marshalltown since moving from Montezuma in 1959.

Born Anna Tasler March 12, 1898, at Guthrie Center, she was the daughter of Tony and Anna Tasler. She received her education and grew to womanhood in the Yale, Iowa, area.

Following her marriage on Dec. 25, 1916, to Fred Boone the couple lived in Yale, Conrad-Beaman and Montezuma where Mr. Boone died in 1959. Since that time she has lived in Marshalltown.

Surviving are three children, Arthur F. and Tony L. Boone, both of Marshalltown; Mrs. Viola Comeaux of Waterville, Minn.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters, Tony and Rudy Tasler of Beaman, Glenn and Ernest Tasler of Marshalltown, Mrs. Jennie Cullinan of Beaman and Mrs. Floyd (Sophia) McKitrick of Marshalltown.

Services were held from the Chapel of Estel-Perrin Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m., Saturday with the Rev. James S. Nelson, of the Baptist Temple, officiating. Committal services were at the Jackson Township Cemetery, Montezuma, at 4 p.m. Saturday.
