MRS. C.B. WHEELER,
FORMER GRINNELL
WOMAN, DIES

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. C.B. Wheeler, a former Grinnell woman who recently died at Minneapolis. Mrs. Wheeler was the wife of W.W. Wheeler. They lived southwest of Brooklyn at the time of the Grinnell-Malcom cyclone and he was killed by the cyclone. His death left several small children and Mrs. Wheeler later moved to Grinnell with them. She had a daughter, Luna, who later became Mrs. Bopp, having married a man who lived at Hawkeye, Iowa. Three sons went to school here, Frank, Harry and Guy Wheeler and Guy Wheeler was at one time a heavy-weight man on the college football team. Mrs. Wheeler was a lady of fine character. Her daughter, Mrs. Luna Wheeler Bopp, survives her, and perhaps one son is still living. Mrs. Wheeler was known here as Mrs. Bell Wheeler.
