RITES MONDAY FOR
MRS. MARGARET KEEFE

Last rites for Mrs. Margaret Keefe, 77, were conducted here Monday afternoon at two o'clock at Bramer's funeral home. The Rev. G.H. Hulsebus, pastor of First United Presbyterian church, officiated and Leo Shuler was organist.

Burial was in the Brooklyn I.O.O.F. cemetery with Andrew Calderwood, Gary Otto, Raymond Montgomery, Elver Roudabush, Lynn Montgomery and Don Coburn serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Don Coburn and Mrs. Lyle Ormiston were in charge of flowers.

Margaret Ormiston Keefe, daughter of Samuel B. and Kathryn Deacon Ormiston, was born at Brooklyn Oct. 10, 1885, and her death occurred Nov 29, 1962, at Marshalltown.

She grew up in the Brooklyn community and graduated from the Brooklyn High School. In 1902 she was married to John T. Keefe, Brooklyn, The family lived in Creston for many years. In 1942 Mrs. Keefe returned to Brooklyn to care for her mother and four years ago she left to make her home with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. L. Wayne Smith, in Marshalltown. She was a member of the Presbyterian church in Brooklyn.

She is survived by eight children. They are Mrs. L.C. (Frances) Thomas of Midland, Tex., Mrs. L. Wayne (Helen) Smith of Marshalltown, Clyde Keefe of Tretwood, Ohio, Glenn Keefe of Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. Al (Kathryn ) Weinstein of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. G.K. (Mary) Rugger of Chatham, N.J., Kenneth Keefe of Zanesville, Ohio and Robert Keefe of Los Angeles, Calif. She also leaves a brother, Russell Ormiston of Brooklyn, and 21 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, one brother and one child, in infancy.
