MR. BRADLEY SERVICES SET FOR FRIDAY

Thomas G. Bradley, 60, of 1020 East St., Grinnell, died Tuesday evening of an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services for Mr. Bradley will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Smith East Side Funeral Home, with the Rev. James P. Russell, pastor of the Grinnell United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Chester Cemetery north of Grinnell. Memorials may be made to the American Arthritic Foundation and may be left at the funeral home.

The son of Thomas and Nellie Schultz Bradley, he was born Dec. 6, 1917, near Grinnell. He attended rural schools and later was graduated from Grinnell High School. He attended the University of Missouri and Iowa State University.

On May 25, 1941, he was married to Marjorie Vogt at Lancaster, Mo. He entered the U.S. Army Air Corps and served in the European theater as a fighter pilot and officer during World War II. He was awarded several bronze stars.

Following his discharge from the service, he returned to Grinnell and operated Bradley's Standard Service Station and Motel on the east side of Grinnell. In 1965, he was appointed as a rural letter carrier, serving until 1970. During his five years with the U.S Post Office he received five safe driving awards. He was a member of the Focht-Tennant American Legion Post, the B.P.O. Elks Lodge in Grinnell, the Rural Letter Carriers Association, and the Small Flies Club in Grinnell.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; his daughter, Mrs. Larry (Peggy) Black of Park City, Utah; two grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Bradley of Grinnell. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Enich and Mrs. Edith Bowman.
