C.F. Hicks died at the home of his son, Edward, at Ft. Collins, Colo., Sunday. The remains were shipped to Montezuma and arrived Wednesday. Funeral services were held in the M.E. church, Wednesday afternoon, burial at the grave was in charge of the Odd Fellows. The deceased was at one time a resident here and conducted a dray line. About 18 years ago he left this county. The wife preceded him to the grave. An only son survives.--Montezuma Republican.
