ANNA H. KVASNY

Anna H. Kvasny, 95, the mother of Julia Heimann of Grinnell, died at the home of her daughter, Norma Rindler, in Bettendorf Monday, Dec. 14.

Services were conducted Thursday at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax, with burial in McKeever Cemetery there.

She was born June 6, 1897, in Moraveska-Ostrava, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Edward and Agnes Mraskova Dluhos. She came to the U.S. in 1920 and settled in the Colfax area.

On Oct. 15, 1921, she was married to Emmanuel Kvasny in Des Moines.

Mrs. Kvasny was a member of the Birthday Club.

Surviving are three daughters, Julia Heimann of Grinnell, Norma Rindler of Bettendorf and Vivian Battles of Colfax; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Edward Dluhos Jr. of Waukegan, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and two sisters.
