MARY EDITH LITTLEPAGE

Mary Edith Littlepage, 86, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., formerly of Grinnell, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, in Shirkey's Nursing Home in Richmond, Mo.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 22, at 1:30 p.m. at the Waugh Yokum Friskel Memorial in Iola, Kan., with burial in Highland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in care of Waugh Yokum Friskel Memorial, 16 N. Buckeye, Iola, Kan. 66749-2925.

She was born Dec. 4, 1920, in Humboldt, Kan., the daughter of Robert Maxwell and Ethel Eva King Lindsey. She was married to Marion Haden Littlepage May 22, 1941, in Humboldt, Kan. She resided in Iola, Kan., until 1969, when she moved to Grinnell where she lived until 2002 when she moved to Missouri where she resided until the time of her death.

She is survived by two sons, Marion Robert Littlepage of Las Vegas, Nevada and Charles Frederick "Fred" Littlepage, Excelsior Springs, Mo.; three daughters, Peggy Jean Nesheim of Spanaway, Wash., Cynthia Lou "Cyndy" Hughey, Perry, Okla., and Debra Lea Fanning, of Justin, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; one sister, Frances Tweedy, Iola, Kan.; two brothers, Charles "Chuck" Lindsey of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Harold Lindsey of Humboldt, Kan. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Marion Haden Littlepage; and one brother Robert "Bob" Lindsey.
