RITES HELD FOR MRS. DEPRENGER

Marjorie DePrenger, 87, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Friendship Manor in Grinnell.

Graveside services were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Newton Union Cemetery, with the Rev. Scott Coulter of the Newton United Presbyterian Church officiating.

The daughter of Herbert and Elizabeth Sprung Devitt, she was born on June 27, 1900, in Dallas, Ore. She graduated from high school in Santa Cruz, Calif.

Mrs. DePrenger was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Newton, the Navy Mothers, the Skiff Medical Center Auxiliary, and the Moose Lodge.

She is survived by two sons, Dale Raridon and Duane Raridon, both of Newton; a daughter, Janis Clements of Sacramento, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth Devitt of Sedona, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, George Raridon; her second husband, Carl DePrenger; and a sister, Violet Geyer.
