RITES HELD FOR MRS. GREINER

SEARSBORO (Special)--Funeral services for the Rev. Annie Laurie Greiner of Atlanta, Ga., and later of Searsboro, were held June 14 at the Church of the Nazarene in Oskaloosa, with the Rev. Irene Weitert and the Rev. Gary Nenecke officiating.

Mrs. Pat Showalter was organist, and Keith Showalter soloist. Pallbearers were Alfred Steen, Lewis Watson, Raymond Fickel, Max Zook, Ronald Baker and James Zimmer. Burial was at the University Park Cemetery.

The daughter of Baptist minister Caleb and Louanna Wilson Ridley, she was born March 12, 1900, in Macon, Ga. She died June 12 at University Hospitals in Iowa City at the age of 75.

A graduate of Oglethorpe University and Chicago Evangelistic Institute (now Vennard College), the Rev. Mrs. Greiner was a Methodist minister and evangelist, having preached in 46 states and in many mission stations overseas.

Preceding her in death were her husband, John D. Greiner; a brother and four sisters.
