PAUL BRIDGHAM

Paul E. Bridgham, 76, of St. Joseph, Mich., formerly of Grinnell, died Oct. 16 at a St. Joseph hospital.

The body was cremated. A memorial service was conducted Oct. 28 at the First Congregational Church in St. Joseph.

He was the son of John Merrill and Rella Miriam Bridgham and was born Aug. 27, 1917, in LaCrosse. He lived in Grinnell while his father served as a classics professor at Grinnell College.

He was a 1934 graduate of Grinnell High School. He was married to Lucy Sherman, also a Grinnell High School graduate.

Surviving are his wife; four daughters, Miriam Ford of Birmingham, Ala., Mary Bridgham of Cascade, Colo., Patricia Pieratte of Tallahassee, Fla., and Janet Gerdes of Sanford, Mich.; one brother, Philip of Rockville, Md.; and five grandchildren.
