OBITUARY.

Threse Lauber was born in Germany, April 14, 1847. On March 15th, 1880 she was united in marriage to Frederick Weis. Four children were born to them, one son Richard, and three daughters, Mrs. Clarence Smith, and the Misses Rosa and Amelia Weis.

In 1889 the family emigrated to America and came at once to this neighborhood where they have lived ever since.

Mrs. Weis has been a member of the Lutheran church since childhood and has lived a consistent christian life. Her health has not been of the best for the last ten years but she was able to attend to the most of her household duties until about two months ago since which time she has failed in health, and on Monday evening at half past ten she sank quietly to rest leaving, beside the grief stricken husband and children, one brother Phillip Lauber of Rock Creek township and three brothers and one sister in Germany.

Funeral services were held Thursday at one o'clock at the German Lutheran church north of Malcom conducted by Rev. J.F. Reinsch.
