MRS. FREDERICK WEIS
DIES IN CHESTER

Funeral services for Mrs. Fredrich Weis were held at the farm home in Chester Township this morning at ten o'clock conducted by the Rev. H.L. Wissler, and the body was taken to Davenport this noon for burial.

Jane Harper was born in New York state, October 27th, 1832 and died at her home in Chester Township, April 21st, 1926 at the age of 93 years and 6 months.

She was one of a family of ten children, all having preceded her in death except the youngest sister, Mrs. Littleton of Balboa, California.

She was married three times. She was united in marriage to Fredrich Weis about sixteen years ago. Mr. Weis preceded her in death in August, 1925.

Mrs. Weis came of a remarkable family, and was a capable teacher when young.

Miss Rose Weis and Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Armstrong were among those who attended the funeral from Grinnell.

Mrs. Jane Busenbark Weis
Dies at Her Home in
Gilman, Ia.

Word was received in Davenport today of the death of Mrs. Jane Busenbark Weis, which occurred at her home in Gilman, Ia., Wednesday evening. Mrs. Wies will be better remembered in Davenport as the wife of the late Prof. Busenbark.

She came to Davenport about 50 years ago from Henry county, Illinois, and left Davenport with her husband about 30 years ago to make her home in Gilman. He died five years later, and she later was married to Fred Weis, who preceded her in death in the fall of 1925.

The body will arrive in Davenport at 4:15 P.M. on Friday, and will be taken to the Hill & Fredericks chapel. Funeral services will be held upon arrival there, to be conducted by the Rev. Fletcher DeClark of Geneseo. Interment will be in Pine Hill cemetery.
