WILLARD A. RILEY
DIES IN IOWA CITY;
SERVICES SATURDAY

Willard A. Riley of 1032 Summer St. in Grinnell died Tueday, July 4, in the Veterans Administration hospital in Iowa City. He had been ill since August.

Mr. Riley served for 2 1/2 years with the 56th division of the First Air Force Base Unit and served in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include his widow; three children, Melvin, Austin, and Dixie, all of the home; three brothers, Johnny of Keyser, W.Va., Charles of Piedmont, W.Va., and Morgan of Ridgley, W.Va.; three sisters, Harriet Chaney of Burlington, W.Va.; Catherine Mills of Keyser, W.Va., and Elizabeth Metcalfe of Piedmont, W.Va.

Mr. Riley was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Rosalie Henry.

Funeral services for Mr. Riley will be held at the Jones Funeral Home in Washington, Iowa, on Saturday, July 8. Burial will be in the New Haven cemetery.
