Funeral services for Lashie Frank Custer, 88, were conducted at 3:30 p.m., Feb. 18, at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine.

Mr. Custer died Feb. 16, at the Lone Elm Nursing Home in Grinnell.

Born March 9, 1880, at Singer Glen, Va., Mr. Custer had lived in the Malcom area for the past ten years.

Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Belle Plaine, with the Rev. Scott C. Hall, pastor of Christ United Methodist church in Belle Plaine, officiating at the ceremony.

Pallbearers included Douglas Custer, Kenneth Custer, Keith Custer, Dale Custer, Mark Custer and Jerry Custer.
