CONNIE K. SPICER

Connie K. Spicer, 70, of Ocala, Fla., and formerly of Grinnell, died in Ocala June 3, 2012.

A gathering in her memory was held June 8 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Ocala. Connie was born in Grinnell April 2, 1942, the daughter of Virgil and *Marian Johnson. She was a retired homemaker who enjoyed bowling, dancing, movies and country music, and the duties of being a mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Ocala Singles Club.

She is survived by her sons Michael Spicer of Ocala and James Spicer of Pittsburgh, Penn.; three grandchildren; and sisters Charlotte Stevens of Corydon, Linda Spencer of Arizona, Cathie Rose of Grinnell, Cheryle Campbell of Numa, and Carolyn Tish of Pierce City, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
