HAROLD A. BECK

Harold A. Beck, 61, Omaha, Neb., formerly of Malcom, died of a massive heart attack Monday, June 11, at work.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 15 at 11 a.m. at Crosby Kunold Burket Funeral Home in Omaha.

He was born June 29, 1928, in Grinnell, the son of Karl and Mary Beck of Malcom. He attended rural schools and Malcom High School and on June 19, 1949, was married in Malcom to Ann Lee. The couple lived in Malcom until moving to Omaha where Mr. Beck became a driver for the Greyhound Bus Company, later entering construction work.

He is survived by his wife Ann, Omaha, and three daughters Marcia Beck, Pat Scarpello and Nancy Klusaw, all of Omaha; five grandchildren; two sisters Irene Morrison, Grinnell, and Mildred Schroeder, Malcom; two brothers Walter Beck, Malcom, and Paul F. Beck, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons Larry and Wayne Beck and one brother Fred Beck.
