SERVICES PENDING
FOR ALICE BECK;
DIES THIS MORN

Mrs. Alice Beck, wife of Mr. Ralph Beck of Grinnell, died early this morning at a local hospital after an illness of four years.

Funeral services are still pending. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Beck was the daughter of William and Julia Baake Dost and was born Oct. 6, 1906, at Walnut, Ill. She was united in marriage with Ralph Beck at Montezuma on Jan. 16, 1929.

Survivors include her husband and six children: Harold Dost of Grinnell, Mrs. Francis (Ruth) Pierce of Grinnell, Robert Beck of Winterset, Donald Beck of the U.S. Navy in San Diego, Calif., Kenneth Beck and Jerry Beck of Grinnell.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren and one brother, William Dost of Rock Island, Ill.
